New Delhi, June 16 (NationPress) The Ghaziabad Police in Uttar Pradesh apprehended two individuals, including a pastor, on charges of attempting to convert members of the Scheduled Castes through inducements. The arrests were made following a formal complaint by local resident Prabal Gupta at the Crossing Republic Police Station on Sunday.
In his complaint, Gupta detailed that Pastor Vinod, hailing from Kerala and currently living in Sahibabad, was engaging in religious conversion efforts at the home of Premchand Jatav in Rahul Vihar. Jatav, who converted to Christianity years ago, had been hosting weekly prayer meetings.
