Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Thursday, 16 July 2026 extended greetings on the occasion of Rath Yatra, the annual chariot festival of Lord Jagannath, expressing his prayer that the divine procession usher in auspiciousness, peace, and prosperity for all.

Posting on X in Hindi, Goyal wrote: 'जय जगन्नाथ!' ('Victory to Lord Jagannath!') and described the grand Rath Yatra as a divine festival celebrating the unbreakable bond between devotee and deity. He called on people to walk the path of service, reverence, and surrender by setting aside ego.

Translating his prayer, the minister said he wishes that the boundless grace of Mahaprabhu Jagannath spreads auspiciousness in everyone's life and that the entire creation be filled with happiness, peace, and prosperity.
