The Prime Minister was greeted warmly by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, and other prominent dignitaries, including the Commissioner and Collector, upon his arrival at the Vadodara airport.
Following his welcome, PM Modi proceeded to Ekta Nagar, where he will lay the foundation stone for various infrastructural and developmental projects, along with inaugurating several existing initiatives.

On Friday, PM Modi will lead the 'Rashtriya Ekta Diwas' celebrations by paying floral tributes to the 'Iron Man of India' and administering the Ekta Diwas pledge.
This year's Ekta Diwas festivities are particularly noteworthy as they include a cultural festival and a Unity Parade, commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Ekta Nagar, home to the towering 182-metre tall Statue of Unity.
The National Unity Day parade, inspired by the Republic Day celebrations, will showcase security forces along with elaborately decorated tableaus.
According to a government statement, "The parade will feature contingents from BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, and SSB, in addition to various state police forces.
Among this year's highlights are a BSF marching contingent made up entirely of Indian breed dogs like Rampur Hounds and Mudhol Hounds, the Gujarat Police's Horse Contingent, the Assam Police's Motorcycle Daredevil Show, and the BSF's Camel Contingent and Camel Mounted Band," the statement added.
The Ekta Diwas parade will feature around 10 tableaux from NSG, NDRF, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Manipur, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, and Puducherry, showcasing the theme 'Unity in Diversity'.
