Hyderabad, Oct 31 (NationPress) Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar has accused the Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, of using offensive language and has called for an immediate apology.

The BJP leader expressed his condemnation through a post on ‘X’ on Friday night, criticizing the comments made by the Chief Minister during a rally for the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election.

“I strongly disapprove of Telangana CM Revanth Reddy’s inappropriate remark about India. He has crossed a line, implying that Pakistan attacked us while India remained passive. Such statements are an affront to our armed forces, who valiantly dismantled terrorist camps in Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. In every corner of India, we honor our soldiers’ bravery,” Bandi Sanjay stated.

He further noted that Operation Sindoor is recognized globally as a hallmark of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decisive actions against terrorism. “The Chief Minister should issue an unconditional apology to the citizens of India and to the courageous soldiers who sacrificed for our safety,” the Minister of State added.

Prior to this, during his campaign for Congress candidate Naveen Yadav, the Chief Minister criticized BJP leaders for claiming they would conduct 'carpet bombing' in Jubilee Hills, questioning why such actions weren't taken during conflicts with Pakistan.

He inquired if Central ministers Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar had provided any financial assistance to the state. “They boast about carpet bombing Jubilee Hills while shamelessly failing to secure funds from Prime Minister Modi,” the Chief Minister remarked.

The Chief Minister was joined by Congress leader and former Indian cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin, who was recently appointed as a state minister.

Revanth Reddy also challenged the BJP for opposing Mohammed Azharuddin’s induction into his cabinet.

“What’s the BJP’s issue with Azharuddin becoming a minister?” the CM queried.

He assured the people of Jubilee Hills that he would undertake the responsibility for its development with the cooperation of Azharuddin and Naveen Yadav following the by-election.

Point of View

I believe that while political discourse can become highly charged, it is crucial for leaders to maintain a level of respect and responsibility, particularly when discussing sensitive topics such as national security and the valor of armed forces.
