“It is a remarkable honor to have Narendra Modiji as our Prime Minister. Serving in his cabinet has allowed me to witness his unwavering commitment and diligence for India closely,” Minister Naidu remarked.
He emphasized the Prime Minister’s rigorous itinerary, stating: “This morning, he was in the Maldives, and now he is here in Tamil Nadu. Tomorrow, he will be in another region, engaging with new constituents. Every second of his time is devoted to enhancing India’s future.”

On July 27, Prime Minister Modi will partake in a series of high-profile events in Tamil Nadu, including the millennium celebrations of Rajendra Chola I’s maritime expedition and the groundbreaking ceremony for the Gangaikonda Cholapuram temple.
In a social media post on platform X, the Prime Minister stated: “Tomorrow, July 27, will feature a special program commemorating a thousand years since the remarkable maritime expedition of Rajendra Chola I to Southeast Asia, alongside the initiation of the construction of the iconic Gangaikonda Cholapuram temple, a testament to Chola architecture. It’s a privilege to release a commemorative coin honoring Rajendra Chola I, coinciding with the Aadi Thiruvathirai festival.”
At the same time, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, who is recuperating at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai, has assigned Finance Minister Thangam Thennarasu to present a memorandum to the visiting Prime Minister.
The memorandum addresses key demands related to the state’s financial and developmental issues.
PM Modi's visit follows his return from official trips to the UK and the Maldives.
He will first arrive in Tuticorin, where he will unveil several infrastructure and connectivity projects aimed at enhancing the state's economic and industrial growth.
