Noida (Uttar Pradesh), March 28 (NationPress) - On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that the Noida International Airport will serve as a beacon of progress toward realizing the vision of a 'Viksit Uttar Pradesh', which he emphasized will provide fresh opportunities for the aspirations of the youth.
He officially launched the highly awaited Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, representing a crucial advancement in India's aviation framework.
During his visit, the Prime Minister explored an exhibition that highlighted the construction journey of the airport project, accompanied by Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath.
Speaking to a large crowd, PM Modi remarked, "I see a gathering filled with vibrant young faces, bursting with enthusiasm and ambition. This is because the youth recognize that this project will elevate their dreams to new heights."
"We are embarking on a new chapter of 'Viksit Bharat' and 'Viksit UP' today. Uttar Pradesh, the country's largest state, has today transformed into one of the states with the highest number of international airports in India," he stated.
As a Lok Sabha MP for Varanasi, PM Modi expressed his gratitude to the residents of Uttar Pradesh for allowing him to inaugurate this landmark project.
"I feel both honored and proud that you entrusted me with the responsibility of laying the foundation stone for this initiative, and now I am here to inaugurate it. This success belongs to all of you. The name of this airport is now forever linked to Uttar Pradesh, which chose me as its representative in Parliament," he added.
The Prime Minister mentioned that areas including Mathura, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Etawah, Bulandshahr, and Faridabad will greatly benefit from the Noida International Airport.
"This airport will unlock numerous opportunities for farmers, small enterprises, and the youth of Western Uttar Pradesh. Flights will operate from here to various global destinations, and simultaneously, this airport will stand as a significant milestone in achieving a 'Viksit Uttar Pradesh'," he stated while congratulating the people of the state.
Commenting on the crisis in West Asia, PM Modi highlighted that many nations are grappling with challenges related to essential commodities like food, fuel, petrol, diesel, gas, and fertilizers due to the ongoing conflict.
"Every nation is taking steps to navigate this crisis, and India is also tackling this challenge robustly, leaning on the resilience of its citizens. A considerable portion of India's crude oil and gas is sourced from regions impacted by the conflict," he noted.
"Thus, the government is implementing all necessary measures to ensure that the burden of this crisis does not fall on ordinary families or our farming communities," he added.
