Jewar Residents Eagerly Anticipate the Inauguration of Noida International Airport by PM Modi

Locals are optimistic about the influx of job opportunities that this development will bring and have acknowledged the significant contributions of farmers to this project.
In a conversation with IANS, Amit Rathi, a local resident, expressed, "The establishment of this airport is crucial for the progress of our region. It will pave the way for new initiatives and job openings. Airports draw in companies, and naturally, this leads to increased employment opportunities. The inclusion of cargo facilities will further enhance the manufacturing sector in our area."

Another resident from Greater Noida highlighted the farmers’ vital role in the airport's construction.
"Farmers have been instrumental in developing the airport as they have provided their land for this significant project," he stated.
He further noted, "This airport will serve not only people from Western Uttar Pradesh but also those in the National Capital Region (NCR). Employment opportunities will rise, and land values have already increased since the airport's announcement."
In preparation for the inauguration, extensive security measures have been implemented near the airport site. Arrangements are also being finalized for the public meeting where PM Modi will speak.
Dhirendra Singh, the BJP MLA from Jewar, shared insights with IANS about PM Modi’s itinerary for the inauguration.
"Based on current information, PM Modi is expected to arrive in Jewar around 10:30 AM. He will then proceed to the terminal building of the Noida International Airport," he stated.
He elaborated, "He will review security protocols, boarding procedures, and all other passenger arrangements. Following this, PM Modi will observe a presentation on the cargo operations. Around 11:30 AM to 12 PM, he will arrive at the rally site near the terminal to address the audience."
Dhirendra Singh also detailed the advanced features of the Noida International Airport.
"This airport is a greenfield project. The terminal is equipped with cutting-edge facial recognition technology for enhanced security, significantly reducing wait times during checks. Facilities have been designed to ensure passengers can complete their procedures swiftly," he explained.
He mentioned that the terminal has been constructed to use "minimal energy during the day and incorporates solar energy."
Singh added that the airport's runway is also set to be inaugurated on March 28.
