New Delhi, March 28 (NationPress) As Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares to inaugurate the eagerly anticipated Noida International Airport located in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, this event signifies a crucial advancement for India's aviation landscape in the area. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath proclaimed that the progress of a 'New Uttar Pradesh' within a 'New India' is about to ascend to yet another remarkable peak.

In a message shared on social media platform X, the Chief Minister stated, “The advancement journey of 'New Uttar Pradesh' under 'New India' is poised to achieve another remarkable pinnacle today. The grand inauguration of the initial phase of the Noida International Airport in Jewar will occur today, officiated by our esteemed Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji.”

He further characterized the airport as a transformative initiative for the state.

“This Jewar airport serves as the runway for the development of Uttar Pradesh. From this location, the aspirations of the youth will take flight, opportunities will be realized, and the future will ascend to unprecedented heights. A special commendation goes to our farmer brothers whose hard work has brought this groundbreaking project to life. Your commitment has made this development achievable,” he remarked.

CM Adityanath also conveyed heartfelt congratulations to farmers for their vital role in the project and extended a warm welcome to the Prime Minister on behalf of the state's 25 crore residents.

“A hearty welcome and congratulations to the Prime Minister from the 25 crore people of our state,” he added.

PM Modi is expected to arrive in Jewar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, around 11:30 A.M. for a tour of the terminal building, followed by the official launch at noon and a public address discussing the project's significance and future roadmap.

On Friday, PM Modi shared images of the airport at Jewar, emphasizing its importance for regional connectivity.

“A significant boost for NCR connectivity! The first phase of the Noida International Airport at Jewar will be inaugurated tomorrow,” he noted in a WhatsApp post.

Uttar Pradesh’s ambitious airport initiative is fully prepared to commence operations, with all arrangements finalized for the high-profile inauguration set for Saturday.

Officials indicated that the Prime Minister is anticipated to arrive at the venue around noon on Saturday to officially inaugurate the airport, after which he will address a large public gathering.

To ensure the smooth execution of the program, the administration has put into place extensive security protocols. The entire area has been segmented into multiple security zones, with a substantial presence of police and paramilitary personnel deployed at strategic locations. Surveillance has been heightened across the venue and nearby areas to avert any potential incidents.

Considering the expected large attendance, authorities have also implemented a thorough traffic management strategy. The movement of goods vehicles on the Yamuna Expressway and Noida Expressway will be restricted starting at 7 A.M. on Saturday for approximately 16 hours. Heavy vehicles will be redirected to alternative routes to facilitate seamless VIP movement and reduce inconvenience for the general public.
