The Prime Minister introduced and commenced a total of 44 projects focused on enhancing both urban and rural infrastructure in the area. These initiatives are anticipated to greatly improve public facilities, boost connectivity, and modernize essential services for Varanasi's residents.

Speaking before an audience of over 50,000 constituents he has represented since 2014, PM Modi remarked, "I am indebted to Kashi. Kashi is mine, I am Kashi's."

He added, "In the last decade, Varanasi has advanced swiftly. Kashi has preserved its history while embracing modernity and taking significant strides toward the future. Kashi is not just ancient but also a thriving city."

According to the Prime Minister, "The Kashi under Mahadev's guidance is spearheading Purvanchal's development."

He mentioned that various infrastructure projects aimed at improving connectivity, the Har Ghar Jal Yojana, and other developmental efforts will help in building a 'Viksit Purvanchal' for the youth.

PM Modi honored Mahatma Jyotiba Phule on his birth anniversary, asserting that the Centre is upholding Phule and his wife Savitri Bai Phule's commitment to women's empowerment.

In a critique of the Opposition's dynastic politics, PM Modi remarked, "We are advancing the concept of 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas' for the nation. Those focused solely on plotting to gain power adhere to 'Parivar ka Sath, Parivar ka Vikas.'"

He commended Banas Dairy in Varanasi for its efforts to empower women, especially through the Lakhpati Didi initiative, and congratulated animal caretakers, particularly the women of Purvanchal, for being a source of inspiration for their communities.

He noted that India is currently the world's largest milk producer, attributing this success to the country's animal keepers and the dairy industry.

Among the significant projects inaugurated was a newly built transit hostel at the Police Lines and modern police barracks in Ramnagar, underscoring the government's dedication to improving civic infrastructure and law enforcement facilities.

The Prime Minister also distributed Geographical Indication (GI) certificates for 21 newly registered products from Uttar Pradesh.
