Tianjin, Aug 31 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi held discussions with his Armenian counterpart Nikol Pashinyan on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in China's Tianjin on Sunday.
"Excellent interaction with Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan. India and Armenia enjoy strong and expanding relations, founded on friendship and collaboration," PM Modi remarked on the social media platform X.
Over recent years, India and Armenia have significantly enhanced their relationship, particularly in the defense sector.
Earlier, PM Modi engaged with Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, highlighting their countries' close cooperation across various key sectors.
"Constructive exchange of views with President Tokayev of Kazakhstan. Our nations are collaborating closely in several critical areas, including energy, security, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals," PM Modi noted in a post on X.
