Kambhampati shared on his X account, "The Prime Minister Shri @narendramodiji's recognition of Koraput Coffee in his #MannKiBaat programme is a remarkable encouragement for Odisha's coffee producers, particularly the women who have turned Koraput into a beacon of empowerment and quality. During my recent trip to Koraput, I had the honor of visiting the coffee plantations, meeting the farmers, and tasting their coffee. It was a remarkable fusion of quality and dedication."
"I strongly encourage everyone to savor Koraput Coffee and witness how Odisha is establishing itself as a prominent player in India's coffee arena," he added.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed that the acknowledgment of Koraput Coffee by PM Modi is a moment filled with pride and happiness for the state. He mentioned that Koraput Coffee is a representation of Odisha’s rich climate and agricultural diversity. "This morning, pride brewed with joy when the Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi mentioned in his Mann Ki Baat episode the flavor and influence Koraput Coffee has had on Odisha and Bharat. Koraput Coffee stands as a testament to the diversity of our climate and crops, and it symbolizes the support our coffee farmers and women receive. This Sunday, brew a cup of Odisha’s authentic coffee and enjoy quality moments with family. India’s coffee is genuinely brewed in India and cherished worldwide," CM Majhi noted on his X account.
Notably, PM Modi emphasized Koraput Coffee during the 127th episode of his monthly radio show, 'Mann Ki Baat', stating that India's coffee is "coffee at its finest -- brewed in India and loved by the world."
"People in Koraput are cultivating coffee driven by their passion. They previously held respectable positions in the corporate sector but were drawn to coffee and are now thriving in this field. Many women have also experienced positive transformations in their lives thanks to coffee," he remarked.
The Prime Minister lauded the empowerment of women and the socio-economic progress that coffee cultivation has brought to Koraput. "They have achieved both respect and prosperity through coffee.
