New Delhi, Oct 26 (NationPress) Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Sunday conveyed his profound respect after bowing in reverence during the ongoing Guru Charan Yatra.

Expressing his sentiments on X, Puri stated: “My life feels blessed by bowing at the Guru’s feet,” as he honored the sacred pair (pavitra joda sahib) of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj and Mata Sahib Kaur Ji.

Describing this as a moment of great fortune, he shared highlights from the Faridabad-Agra and Agra-Bareilly segments of the yatra, hoping that the grace of Guru Maharaj Ji remains with all devotees.

In a notable instance, Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, along with his family, visited Gurdwara Moti Bagh Sahib in New Delhi on Friday to pay respects to the sacred Jore Sahib at the commencement of the “Charan Suhawe-Guru Charan Yatra.”

This visit was marked by deep reverence as the nation gears up for this historic spiritual journey, which carries the sacred relics of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Mata Sahib Kaur Ji.

The Jore Sahib, the revered footwear of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, has been lovingly preserved for over three centuries by the family of Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri before it was entrusted to the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.

Last week, the Union Minister announced plans to present these sacred relics for the sangat’s darshan at Guru Sahib’s birthplace, Takht Sri Patna Sahib.

In a formal announcement, he stated that the Joda Sahib would be transported from Delhi to Patna Sahib as part of the “Charan Suhawa, Guru Charan Yatra,” allowing devotees along the route to witness the sacred relic.

This relic embodies the humility, grace, and divine legacy of the Tenth Guru and Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, serving as a sacred reminder of their sacrifice, courage, and compassion.

Its darshan encourages devotees to follow the Guru’s path of righteousness and selfless service.

The Charan Suhawe Guru Charan Yatra will journey from Delhi to Takht Sri Patna Sahib, passing through Faridabad, Agra, Bareilly, Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Sasaram, concluding on November 1 at the Guru’s birthplace in Patna.

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his heartfelt wishes for the Guru Charan Yatra, invoking the timeless teachings and spiritual legacy of Sri Guru Gobind Singh and Mata Sahib Kaur.

He encouraged citizens, particularly those along the yatra route, to engage in this spiritual pilgrimage and seek darshan of the holy ‘Jore Sahib’.

I emphasize the significance of respecting our cultural heritage and the spiritual journeys that unite us. The Guru Charan Yatra is more than just a pilgrimage; it symbolizes the unwavering faith and reverence of millions towards the teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Mata Sahib Kaur Ji. It is essential that we, as a nation, come together to honor and uphold these values.
