New Delhi, Nov 2 (NationPress) On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrapped up a busy day of political activities in Bihar by visiting the esteemed Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib. During his visit, he offered prayers and paid tribute to the Sikh Gurus.
As per a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, PM Modi characterized his time at the Gurudwara as a “deeply spiritual experience”, emphasizing that the profound teachings of the Sikh Gurus continue to enlighten humanity.
“The noble teachings of the Sikh Gurus inspire the entire world. This Gurudwara has a significant connection to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, whose valor and commitment to justice are truly motivating,” PM Modi mentioned in a post on X, showcasing moments from his visit.
Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib, one of the five Takhts in Sikhism, bears great religious importance as it is the birthplace of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth and final Sikh Guru.
Earlier, the Prime Minister led an extravagant roadshow in Patna, concluding at Bakarganj after traversing through Dinkar Golambar, Nala Road, Bari Path, and Thakurbadi Road. Crowds gathered along the route, welcoming him in a vehicle adorned with flowers amidst chants and slogans.
This roadshow was organized to rally support for the NDA candidates ahead of the impending Assembly elections in Bihar.
Moreover, PM Modi reaffirmed his dedication to transforming Bihar into a significant hub for the ‘Make in India’ initiative, asserting that only a “double-engine government” under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar can accomplish this vision.
“‘Make in India’ is resonating worldwide, and our aim for Bihar is to transform it into a center for this monumental mission,” PM Modi stated while addressing a rally in Arrah.
Highlighting advancements in Bihar's fisheries sector, the Prime Minister noted how the state, which once relied on fish imports, now supplies fish to various regions of the country. He attributed this success to the NDA government’s development-oriented policies.
Stressing that the NDA’s manifesto is centered on empowerment and upliftment, PM Modi said, “Every promise, every plan is devoted to Bihar's swift advancement. The NDA has presented a sincere and visionary manifesto for the state’s growth.”
In a direct criticism of the Opposition alliance, he accused the Mahagathbandhan of internal strife and dishonesty.
“On one side is the NDA’s honest manifesto, and on the other are the jungle raj elements who have turned their manifesto into a document of falsehoods,” PM Modi remarked.
He also directed his criticism toward the Congress and the RJD, alleging internal conflicts within the alliance concerning the chief ministerial candidate for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
