New Delhi, Feb 23 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Assam from February 23 to 25, engaging in various developmental initiatives and inaugurating business summits.

On February 25, he will head to Chhatarpur district in Madhya Pradesh, where he will lay the foundation stone for the Bageshwar Dham Medical and Science Research Institute at approximately 2 p.m.. This cancer hospital, costing over Rs 200 crore, aims to provide free treatment to underprivileged cancer patients with cutting-edge equipment and expert medical professionals.

The Prime Minister will also open the two-day Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025 in Bhopal on February 24. This summit is crucial for positioning Madhya Pradesh as a global investment destination, featuring departmental summits and specialized discussions on sectors such as Pharma, Transport and Logistics, and Tourism. It will also host international conferences, including discussions with Global South countries and key partner nations.

During this summit, three significant industrial exhibitions will take place: the Auto Show, focusing on the state's automotive prowess; the Textile and Fashion Expo, showcasing both traditional and modern textile production; and the One District-One Product (ODOP) Village, highlighting the unique craftsmanship and cultural heritage of the region.

More than 60 countries, representatives from international organizations, over 300 industry leaders from India, and various policymakers are expected to attend the summit, as stated in a government press release.

On the same day, PM Modi will travel to Bhagalpur in Bihar and around 2.15 p.m., will release the 19th installment of the PM KISAN scheme. Additionally, he will inaugurate and dedicate several development projects in the state.

Direct financial benefits exceeding Rs 21,500 crore will be provided to over 9.7 crore farmers across the nation.

The Prime Minister will launch the Centre of Excellence for Indigenous Breeds in Motihari, established under the Rashtriya Gokul Mission. This center aims to implement advanced IVF technology, propagate elite indigenous animals, and train farmers in modern reproductive techniques. He will also inaugurate a Milk Product Plant in Barauni, aimed at developing a structured market for three lakh milk producers.

Continuing his focus on enhancing connectivity and infrastructure, the Prime Minister will dedicate the doubling of the Warisaliganj-Nawada-Tilaiya rail section, valued at over Rs 526 crore, and the Ismailpur-Rafiganj Road Over Bridge.

On February 25, at approximately 10.45 a.m., PM Modi will inaugurate the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025 in Guwahati. He will also partake in the Jhumoir Binandini (Mega Jhumoir) 2025, a grand cultural event featuring 8,000 performers showcasing the Jhumoir dance, a representation of the inclusivity and cultural pride of the Assam Tea Tribe and Adivasi Communities. This event marks 200 years of the tea industry and industrialization in Assam.

The Advantage Assam 2.0 summit, set for February 25 to 26, will include an inaugural session, seven ministerial discussions, and 14 thematic sessions. A comprehensive exhibition will showcase the economic landscape of the state, emphasizing its industrial growth, global trade connections, and vibrant MSME sector, hosting over 240 exhibitors. Various stakeholders, including international organizations, global leaders, investors, and students, will be present, according to a government media release.
