Patna, Oct 23 (NationPress) As Prime Minister Narendra Modi gears up to launch the Bihar election campaign supporting NDA candidates on October 24, both the BJP and JD(U) have extended a warm welcome to him. They are optimistic about the election being overwhelmingly favorable and confidently believe that the NDA will achieve a significant victory.
In a statement to IANS, JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha remarked, “Tomorrow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Samastipur for the election campaign rally. We wholeheartedly welcome him, and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will also join. This election is clear-cut, and we are set for a landslide win.”
BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal emphasized, “The Prime Minister's arrival is always significant. His visit to Samastipur tomorrow will elevate the already positive vibe in North Bihar to a level of excitement. On November 8, PM Modi will also be in Bettiah. His initiatives for the underprivileged have endeared him to every family in Bihar.”
Congress leader Pawan Khera commented, “Let him come — there’s nothing wrong with that. Everyone is welcomed in Bihar. The state knows who to invite for guest appearances and who is truly here for government service.”
According to party sources, PM Modi will commence his campaign from the land of Karpoori Thakur, addressing large public gatherings in Samastipur, and will later hold another rally in Begusarai.
During his speeches, he is anticipated to encourage voters to back NDA candidates and deliver a strong message to the opposition.
This upcoming visit marks PM Modi’s first campaign appearance in Bihar since the election announcement.
He is set to visit the state twice in October — first on October 24, and again on October 30, when he will speak at public assemblies in Muzaffarpur and Chhapra.
Additionally, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will conduct two major election rallies on October 24 — one in Siwan and another in Buxar.
This will be Shah’s second visit to Bihar within a week, following his earlier three-day tour from October 16 to 18, during which he held a rally in Taraiya (Chhapra).
The state BJP leadership has finalized all arrangements for the prominent visits of both leaders, ensuring local units are mobilized to achieve massive public engagement.
The rallies by PM Modi and Shah are anticipated to significantly elevate the political dynamics in the state and invigorate the NDA's campaign.
