Chapra, Oct 30 (NationPress) BJP leaders praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his rally in Chapra, Bihar, stating that both PM Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar have significantly advanced the state. They emphasized that the enthusiastic public response showcased the NDA's increasing momentum, expressing their confidence that the coalition would secure the next government with a strong majority.
Union Minister Chirag Paswan remarked to IANS, “The atmosphere is vibrant wherever we travel. With this resolve, I am confident we will form the government. PM Modi has been actively contributing, and under the double-engine governance, progress has been sustained year after year. The public has faith in this dual leadership. Bihar is poised to embark on a golden era under this double-engine governance.”
BJP MP Janardan Singh Sigriwal reflected this sentiment, stating, “Indeed, across Bihar, be it through its history, land, or people, even the soil of Saran is rich with remarkable personalities and legends. Bihar has always been a land of great figures, which is why the Prime Minister mentioned them in his address.”
BJP MLA Janak Singh added, “The entire Saran district and the entire state are now devoted to Lord Ram. Under Nitish Kumar's leadership, we are set to form the government in Bihar with more than a two-thirds majority.”
Parsa MLA and NDA candidate Chhotelal Rai commended the Prime Minister’s focus on development, stating, “The message of PM Modi’s developmental efforts should reach every individual. PM Narendra Modi is a respected figure not just in India but globally. We aim to fully implement his vision. Where was Bihar before? Nitish Kumar and PM Modi have brought Bihar a long way.”
A BJP supporter at the rally labeled the event as historic, saying, “Today, the world’s greatest leader is present. Even the heavens seem to bless him with this drizzle. This rally will be remembered for years to come.”
Earlier in the day, PM Modi launched a fierce critique of the Congress party for allegedly disrespecting the people of Bihar in other regions, recalling a 2022 incident involving former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
Addressing the Chapra rally, the Prime Minister asserted, “Friends, I want to remind you—those with the lantern (RJD), the hand (Congress), and their INDIA alliance partners—how they have disrespected Bihar. The Congress Chief Minister in Punjab openly stated that people from Bihar would not be permitted in his state. At that moment, a member of the Gandhi family, who now serves in Parliament, was smiling and applauding on stage.”
PM Modi accused the INDIA bloc of hypocrisy, claiming they insult Biharis in their own regions while seeking their votes in Bihar. He labeled it a “calculated conspiracy” by the Congress aimed at undermining its ally, the RJD, in the state.
