Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Patna, Nov 2 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday pledged to transform Bihar into a center for the 'Make In India' initiative, emphasizing that only the double-engine government led by Nitish Kumar can bring about this significant change. He highlighted that the NDA's agenda, focus, and manifesto prioritize delivering transparent and effective governance, in stark contrast to the Opposition’s 'jungle raj'.
While addressing a rally in Arrah, PM Modi remarked that 'Make in India' is gaining international traction. "Our ambition for Bihar is for it to emerge as a center for this groundbreaking mission," he stated.
Proudly discussing the advancements in Bihar's fisheries sector, PM Modi noted that the state has transitioned from importing fish to exporting it to other states, a testament to the NDA government's successful policies.
He asserted that the NDA’s manifesto is focused on the empowerment and upliftment of Bihar, stating: "The NDA has delivered a genuine and forward-thinking manifesto dedicated to the rapid development of Bihar. Every promise and plan is aimed at enhancing Bihar's growth."
Criticizing the infighting within the Mahagathbandhan, he said: "On one side is the NDA's sincere manifesto, while on the other are those from the 'jungle raj'. They have turned their manifesto into a collection of falsehoods, misleading the people."
He further commented on the escalating rift between the RJD and Congress, asserting that the people of Bihar should not expect any progress from these factions, as they are primarily focused on their own interests.
"Neither is Congress acknowledged in the manifesto, nor are they being included in the campaigning. The hostility among them has grown to such an extent that post-elections, they will likely turn on each other," the Prime Minister observed at the rally.
PM Modi also highlighted the positive impacts of the 'Bihar Dairy Mission' on the lives of numerous residents and reiterated the NDA’s commitment to generating job opportunities for the state's populace.
"We aim to create one crore jobs in the coming years, and the strategy for achieving this has been shared with the public," he added, reaffirming the promises outlined in the NDA manifesto.
He emphasized that it is the NDA’s promise that Bihar's youth should work within the state and contribute to its prosperity.
Additionally, he announced that the new NDA government will enhance the financial support provided under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, increasing the annual amount for farmers from Rs 6,000 to an additional Rs 3,000.
