Sitamarhi, Nov 8 (NationPress) During a recent public gathering in Sitamarhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi captivated the audience as several attendees hailed him with reverence, exclaiming, “Modi bhagwan hai (Modi is like a god).” They showcased unwavering support for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to regain power both in Bihar and nationally.
IANS engaged with participants at the rally, where one individual noted, “Modi bhagwan hai. He is erecting temples, so whom else should we favor with our votes?”
Another supporter remarked, “PM Modi resembles a god, constructing Maa Janaki’s temple. If we don’t cast our votes for him, who truly deserves our support?”
An enthusiastic follower stated, “It is remarkable that the land of Janaki, Sitamarhi, is graced by PM Modi’s presence. His name alone is sufficient to unite people. We gather here to welcome him wholeheartedly.”
One attendee expressed, “The Opposition may voice their concerns, but I am confident the NDA will triumph. We desire Nitish Kumar to resume as Chief Minister and wish for PM Modi to continue guiding the nation. Nitish Kumar has significantly contributed to the progress of Sitamarhi.”
A woman voiced her thoughts, stating, “Nothing positive can emerge under Tejashwi Yadav. The advancement and expertise we’ve witnessed under PM Modi and Nitish Kumar cannot be paralleled. We wish to see them back in power.”
Another attendee added, “Bihar is experiencing tremendous growth, and we want this momentum to persist. We aspire for Bihar and the entire nation to flourish. We are here to ensure the NDA’s victory. The construction of the Janaki Mandir will enhance tourism, and we hope the NDA will govern Bihar once more. While Tejashwi Yadav promises numerous government jobs, that seems unrealistic. We support Nitish Kumar and the NDA government to proceed.”
As Bihar prepares for the second and final phase of the 2025 Assembly elections on November 11, campaigning has escalated statewide. Out of 243 constituencies, 122 will vote in a contest between the BJP–JD(U)-led NDA and the RJD–Congress-led Mahagathbandhan.
According to the Election Commission, 1,302 candidates are competing in this phase.
The initial polling phase, conducted on November 6, recorded a voter turnout of 64.6 percent, with Begusarai achieving the highest turnout at 67.32 percent and Sheikhpura the lowest at 52.36 percent by 5 p.m.
