New Delhi, May 13 (NationPress) The Laxman Rekha for India against terrorism has been firmly established, stated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, commending the Indian armed forces for their decisive response to the Pahalgam terror attack during Operation Sindoor.
While addressing air personnel and soldiers at the Adampur Air Force Station in Punjab—one of the numerous IAF bases that were targeted by Pakistan—PM Modi remarked, “According to India’s Laxman Rekha against terror, any act of aggression will be met with a definite response from the nation.”
“Ghar mein ghus ke mareinge aur bachne ka mouka bhi nahin denge, (We will pursue you within your territory and will not allow an escape),” he asserted.
“This was evident during the surgical strikes, the airstrikes, and now with Operation Sindoor, which has become a standard approach for India,” he elaborated, emphasizing the country’s robust three-pronged strategy of responding to terrorist acts while dismissing nuclear intimidation and treating both the terror orchestrators and their state backers equally.
Honoring the Indian forces and the Border Security Force for delivering a powerful lesson to the Pakistan Army for its support of terrorism, PM Modi stated, “You have reminded Pakistan that if there’s a terror incident, we will strike back on their soil.”
PM Modi congratulated the Indian Air Force and other military branches for demonstrating exemplary coordination between man and machine, stating, “The mere thought of our drones and missiles keeps Pakistan awake at night.”
Describing the actions of the military as Sarahnaye (commendable), Akalpanic (unimaginable), and Abhootpur (unprecedented), he expressed, “Your bravery and valor have bolstered the nation’s pride, unified the populace, and safeguarded our borders.”
“The integrated air command and control system, along with the formidable security apparatus established by our forces, now defines India’s identity,” he added.
In light of the Pakistan forces’ impotence in the face of the Indian offensive under Operation Sindoor, PM Modi remarked, “The strategic use of technology by our forces has proven that they are unparalleled globally.”
Highlighting the exceptional performance of the Akash and S400 missile defense systems, the Prime Minister noted that over the last decade, the armed forces have been equipped with top-tier technology, which Pakistan cannot rival with.
