How Did PM Modi’s 'Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025' Enter Guinness World Records?

New Delhi, Aug 4 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s esteemed initiative Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing a place in the Guinness World Records for the "Most individuals registered on a Citizen Engagement Platform in a month." This accolade was awarded for the astounding 3.53 crore valid registrations attained during the eighth iteration of the program, which was conducted via the MyGov platform — a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Education and MyGov, flourishing since 2018.

Pariksha Pe Charcha serves as a distinctive global forum where Prime Minister Modi directly interacts with students, parents, and educators, providing guidance, motivation, and strategies to alleviate exam-related stress. Over the years, it has turned the examination period into a celebration of positivity, preparation, and intentional learning.

The official Guinness World Records certificate was officially presented during a ceremony in New Delhi.

The event saw the presence of Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Jitin Prasada, Sanjay Kumar, CEO of MyGov Nand Kumarum, and other prominent officials and stakeholders.

The record was verified and publicly declared by Rishi Nath, a representative from Guinness World Records.

During the ceremony, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan remarked that under Prime Minister Modi’s visionary guidance, Pariksha Pe Charcha has evolved into a national movement revolutionizing the examination experience.

He highlighted that the eighth edition drew in an estimated 21 crore plus viewers across various media platforms in 2025, showcasing the nation's unified commitment to a holistic and inclusive educational framework aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat.

Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw lauded the initiative as a powerful instrument for uniting students, teachers, and parents to nurture a stress-free, well-being-centered learning environment. "The record-breaking registrations signify the public’s faith and the program’s influence," he stated.

Minister Jitin Prasada praised MyGov for utilizing digital innovation to enhance participatory governance. He emphasized that Pariksha Pe Charcha has set a standard for employing technology to amplify public engagement nationwide.

Aligned with the objectives of NEP 2020, which advocates for stress-free and experiential learning, Pariksha Pe Charcha promotes a shift away from rote memorization towards fostering critical thinking and emotional resilience.

Through personal interactions, Prime Minister Modi addresses genuine challenges faced by students — encompassing time management, digital distractions, and exam anxiety — providing practical solutions and encouragement.
