New Delhi, May 29 (NationPress) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated on Thursday that Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) will inevitably return to India, as the individuals residing across the Line of Control (LoC) share a profound bond with us. He highlighted the significance of indigenous defence capabilities fostered through the 'Made in India' initiative, which have been crucial in India’s military response to cross-border terrorism.

“The 'Make in India' initiative is a fundamental pillar of India's national security. Without this capacity, our forces would not have been able to carry out such impactful actions against terrorism emanating from Pakistan to PoK,” Defence Minister Singh remarked.

While addressing the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Annual Summit in the national capital, Rajnath Singh expressed his conviction that PoK will return to India voluntarily, reinforcing the nation’s commitment to 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat'.

“I firmly believe that the residents of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) are part of our family. We are confident that our brothers, who are currently separated from us both geographically and politically, will one day reunite with India. The majority there feel a profound connection to India,” he stated, noting that only a small segment opposes integration with India due to misinformation.

“The day is approaching when PoK will declare - I am India, I have returned,” he added.

Defence Minister Singh also referenced Maharana Pratap and his brother Shakti Singh to support his belief in PoK’s eventual reunion with India.

“The plight of our brothers in PoK resembles that of the valiant warrior Maharana Pratap’s younger brother, Shakti Singh. Despite their separation, Maharana Pratap’s unwavering faith in his brother remained. He expressed confidence that Shakti Singh would abandon the wrong path and return to him, saying, 'He is my brother; how can he stay away from me?',” the Defence Minister noted.

Defence Minister Singh characterized 'Operation Sindoor' as India’s new standard in addressing terrorism that arises from across the border and reaffirmed that the Modi government has redefined the approach to dialogue with Pakistan, stating that future discussions will solely focus on terrorism and PoK.
