Kolkata, Oct 13 (NationPress) Police have apprehended a fourth individual in relation to the gang-rape incident involving a second-year medical student from Odisha in Durgapur, West Bengal. This brings the total number of arrests to four.

The authorities reported that the latest arrest occurred last night. The detained individual is a temporary employee at the Durgapur Municipal Corporation and is scheduled to appear in the Durgapur Sub-Divisional Court later today, where police will request his custody.
