Dhanatrayodashi, commonly referred to as Dhanteras, signifies the commencement of the Diwali festivities in Hindu culture.
This festival, celebrated with Lakshmi Puja, takes place in the evenings with the lighting of diyas (clay lamps). Devotional melodies, known as bhajans, are sung in honor of Goddess Lakshmi, accompanied by offerings of traditional sweets.
In a message posted on X, PM Modi expressed, "Heartfelt Dhanteras greetings to all my family members in the country. On this sacred occasion, I pray for everyone's happiness, prosperity, and good health. May Lord Dhanvantari bestow his abundant blessings upon all."
