New Delhi, Feb 12 (NationPress) President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday conveyed her warm wishes to the nation on the significant occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti, encouraging individuals to adopt his principles of equality and social justice.
Guru Ravidas, a prominent saint from the Bhakti movement during the 15th and 16th centuries, is celebrated for his profound message of unity, devotion, and service to humanity.
In a post on X, President Murmu stated, "On this auspicious occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti, I extend my heartfelt wishes to all citizens. Saint Ravidas devoted his life to serving humanity. He was relentless in his efforts to eliminate discrimination based on religion and caste and worked towards fostering unity in society."
