Mathura, Sep 25 (NationPress) President Droupadi Murmu is set to arrive in Mathura and Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday to offer prayers at renowned temples.
She will travel to Vrindavan via a special train from Delhi and will visit the Shri Thakur Banke Bihari Temple, Nidhivan, and the Shri Nabha Krishna Sudama Kuti located on the Parikrama Marg.
This visit is particularly meaningful as it aligns with the centenary celebrations of the Shri Nabha Krishna Sudama Kuti Ashram.
The Mahant of the Ashram has invited the President, and preparations are in full swing to establish a Ram Darbar at the Ashram. During her stay, the President is also expected to engage with saints and sages for approximately 20 minutes.
The district administration, along with the Municipal Corporation, has made comprehensive preparations for her visit.
Special prayers and silver lamps will be illuminated at the Banke Bihari Temple prior to the President's convoy proceeding towards Nidhivan.
Senior officials have been monitoring security arrangements at the temples to guarantee a seamless visit.
Uttar Pradesh Director-General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Krishna and Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar arrived in Mathura and Vrindavan on Tuesday to review the preparations.
