Wayanad, June 14 (NationPress) Congress MP from Wayanad and AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has expressed her strong disapproval of the Modi government’s decision to abstain from a United Nations resolution aimed at ensuring the protection of civilians and compliance with legal and humanitarian obligations in Gaza.
India, once again, refrained from supporting a General Assembly resolution critical of Israel, arguing that efforts should instead focus on fostering dialogue and diplomacy to resolve the Gaza conflict. India was among the 19 countries that chose to abstain from the resolution, which passed with 149 votes while 12 countries, including the United States, voted against it.
