Indore, June 14 (NationPress) Utkarsh Awadhiya from Indore has achieved the remarkable feat of securing the second All India rank as the results of the NEET UG 2025 examination were unveiled by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday.
In total, four students from Madhya Pradesh have made it to the top 100 ranks in the NEET UG 2025 examination.
Utkarsh's father, Alok Awadhiya, a bank employee in Indore, expressed that his son's commitment and effective time management were crucial in attaining the second highest rank.
He proudly shared, "Utkarsh has brought immense joy to our family."
"As my elder son, this is indeed a moment of happiness for all of us. He has established a structured schedule for both his studies and sports. He achieved 97 percent in his Class 12 examinations," he told IANS.
Alok further mentioned, "Utkarsh commenced his NEET exam preparations from Class 10 and aims to gain admission to AIIMS Delhi for his MBBS. He dedicated six to seven hours daily to studying after his coaching sessions. Besides his academic pursuits, he is passionate about sports. During his preparation, he meticulously studied NCERT books and revised his notes at least 10 times before the exam."
Alongside Utkarsh Awadhiya, Agam Jain achieved the 45th rank, Anubhav Pandey secured the 79th rank, and Mohit Bharti followed closely with the 82nd rank, all hailing from Madhya Pradesh.
NEET, recognized as the largest medical entrance examination in the country, is organized annually by the NTA for students aspiring to enroll in MBBS and BDS programs at prestigious medical institutions nationwide.
This year, approximately 20 lakh students participated in the NEET exam across the country.
Madhya Pradesh offers a total of 5,025 MBBS seats, with 2,488 available in 17 government-run medical colleges and 2,450 in 13 medical colleges spread throughout the state.
In a noteworthy mention, Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan emerged as the topper of the NEET-UG examination this year, achieving an impressive 99.99 percentile.
