Chandigarh, May 9 (NationPress) The Punjab President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Aman Arora, asserted the unwavering commitment of the state government to national security. He reaffirmed that the Chief Minister, Bhagwant Singh Mann, and the three crore residents of Punjab stand united with the Indian Army in protecting the nation.
Arora praised the Indian Army for its vigilant and assertive measures in confronting threats, stating, “The Army is providing a robust and determined response to threats against our nation. It is the duty of every citizen to support the Army’s initiatives and maintain the unity and security of our country.”
To enhance the safety of the populace in border regions, the Punjab government has instituted a series of measures.
He pointed out that all border districts, including Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, and Fazilka, are on high alert.
“Two ministers and senior officials have been assigned to each border district to monitor the situation closely. They are collaborating with local authorities to ensure the seamless provision of essential services such as rations, health care, and fire safety,” added the AAP Punjab leader.
The Punjab Police, acting as a secondary defense, is coordinating with the Army to uphold law and order.
Moreover, special precautions are being taken to prevent hoarding, black marketing, or any form of exploitation during this period.
