Chandigarh, April 18 (NationPress) The Punjab government has marked a significant milestone in its battle against gangsters with the capture of the infamous terrorist Happy Passia, who had been orchestrating attacks on the state’s tranquility from the US.
Passia, notorious for his involvement in several grenade attacks in the region, had long evaded law enforcement.
Expressing appreciation for the Punjab Police and intelligence services for this crucial achievement, AAP Punjab President Aman Arora stated, “This is a moment of pride and relief for Punjab. A notorious terrorist operating from abroad, instilling fear and chaos, has been arrested thanks to the relentless efforts of our law enforcement and intelligence teams.

Arora took the opportunity to criticize Opposition leaders, especially Congress Leader of Opposition Partap Bajwa, for questioning the integrity of the Punjab Police.
He remarked: "Leaders like Bajwa, who assert that Punjab Police is ineffective or propose its disbandment, need to justify their statements to the people of Punjab. It was this very Punjab Police, with its intelligence capabilities and collaboration with international agencies, that successfully tracked down and apprehended a terrorist hiding across seven seas."
Highlighting the police's accomplishments in the fight against terrorism, Arora reminded the public of their crucial role during Punjab's turbulent times of militancy.
