Saddened by their situation, Gandhi pledged to advocate for their rights with utmost determination.
In a post on X, he emphasized the severe repercussions of such occurrences, stating, "The rising frequency of stampedes at railway stations and similar public venues is alarming. Numerous innocent individuals lose their lives or sustain injuries in these tragic incidents. We must unite and explore solutions to avert such disasters."
Gandhi also called for public involvement in tackling this issue, encouraging individuals to share their ideas on enhancing crowd management and bolstering security measures at railway stations.

During their conversation, the coolies recounted the tumultuous events of that tragic night when a large crowd congregated at platforms 14 and 15, culminating in the deadly stampede. They described their efforts to rescue trapped passengers, even at the risk of their own safety.
Beyond their valor that night, the porters shared the grim realities of their daily existence with Gandhi. Many disclosed that they often struggle to afford a single meal, having to make the difficult choice between sending money home or feeding themselves.
Gandhi remarked: "Our porter brothers endure such hardship. They jeopardize their lives to assist others, yet their voices remain unheard."
He committed to advocating for their cause at the highest levels, asserting: "During the stampede at New Delhi Railway Station, these workers risked their lives to save others.
