Rahul's Newsletter Highlights His 2024 Journey: From Bharat Jodo Yatra to Community Engagement

New Delhi, Jan 2 (NationPress) - On Thursday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi published a newsletter as part of his strategy to extend his outreach and engage with the populace regarding his significant activities in 2024.
The newsletter encapsulates Rahul's accomplishments and efforts throughout the year, highlighting his attempts to connect with voters and his critiques of the government on pressing public issues.
In sharing the newsletter, the Congress MP remarked, "Explore my insights on my speech regarding the Constitution and Manusmriti in Parliament, along with related developments. Additionally, read about my recent visit to the vegetable market and other engagements."
This comprehensive eight-page document features a heartfelt tribute to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, his discussions on the "clash between Manusmriti and the Constitution," and a reflection on memorable experiences from his Bharat Jodo Yatra.
In 2024, Rahul Gandhi traveled to 25 states covering over 6,600 km, participated in more than 260 group discussions, delivered over 200 public speeches, and attended upwards of 40 party events. He also gave 15 speeches in Parliament and held 17 press conferences, as noted in the newsletter.
The document also highlights Rahul's visits to communities during crises, such as rising inflation, showing solidarity with the families of the Hathras rape victim, among others. His speech at the Congress' session in Belgaum, Karnataka, has also been included.
A prominent section of the newsletter is dedicated to the Bharat Jodo Yatra, which the party attributes to its remarkable performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The Congress party, which previously had 52 MPs, saw its representation nearly double to 99 in the latest elections.
The newsletter includes details of his speech in Parliament, including his inaugural address as Leader of the Opposition, where he criticized the BJP for its "politics of hatred" while advocating for non-violence.
Rahul Gandhi has called on readers and internet users to subscribe to his WhatsApp channel.
It is noteworthy that the current political landscape is increasingly influenced by social media and digital communication, with all political parties, both national and regional, leveraging these platforms to enhance their appeal and broaden their reach to the public.
