He discussed the most challenging aspects of the production and how he prepared for his role, according to 'People' magazine.
In 'Mercy', he takes on the role of a Los Angeles detective racing against time to uncover the truth behind his wife's death while facing accusations of her murder.
As reported by 'People', Pratt shared that the toughest part of working on 'Mercy' was engaging with law enforcement officers to better understand his character.
“I had the chance to collaborate with the Los Angeles Police Department and their homicide division, allowing me to have meaningful conversations with those professionals,” he explained.
He also noted that he performed stunts in conjunction with the police. “It was an amazing experience. The stunt work we executed was truly impressive,” he stated.
The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' actor emphasized that performing stunts wasn't the most demanding aspect of his collaboration with the Los Angeles Police Department.
He elaborated, “We got to drive police cars and engage in thrilling bar fight scenes, yet the real challenge lay in hearing some of the stories. It's a stark reminder of the realities they face.”
“We often overlook the fact that while we enjoy the sights of New York City, there are homicide detectives working tirelessly on real cases. These individuals are heroes facing immense challenges and witnessing trauma daily, which is truly staggering,” he added.
