Los Angeles, March 2 (NationPress) The comedic charm of Hollywood star Chris Pratt serves as a vital source of strength for his family during tough times.

The 46-year-old actor's spouse, author Katherine Schwarzenegger, feels incredibly lucky to be with someone who radiates positivity and joy, according to a report by ‘Female First UK’.

In her conversation with ‘People’ magazine, she expressed, "I have so much gratitude for marrying Chris for many reasons, but one of the most significant is having a partner who injects humour into our lives, especially during challenging moments. Even in the toughest times, his ability to bring laughter is invaluable, and I am truly thankful for that.”

Together, Katherine, 36, and Chris are parents to two daughters, Lyla, age five, and Eloise, age three, along with a two-year-old son named Ford.

As reported by ‘Female First UK’, Chris kept his family entertained when they were affected by the flu. Katherine, who is also the stepmother to Chris' 13-year-old son Jack from his previous marriage to actress Anna Faris, stated, "He consistently fills our lives with humour. Even when he is unwell, he manages to crack jokes that lighten up a difficult situation, making even a rough week feel brighter.”

Katherine, the daughter of acting icon Arnold Schwarzenegger, 78, and journalist Maria Shriver, 70, began dating Chris in 2018, the same year he finalized his divorce with Anna after nine years of marriage.

In 2019, the couple wed in a private ceremony at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. Now, seven years later, Katherine shares what sustains their relationship.

She remarked, "It’s about understanding that we are partners in so many aspects of life, particularly in raising our children, which comes with its own set of challenges and joys.”

In February, Chris mentioned that he approaches every day as if it were Valentine’s Day. He shared with Extra, "Katherine prefers not to go out on Valentine’s Day as she finds it a bit hectic, so that means I have to treat every other day like it’s Valentine’s Day.”

During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show last year, Chris discussed how their relationship has been advancing rapidly.

He expressed, "God seems to have a fast-forward button. When it’s meant to be, boom. You fall in love, you marry, and now we've added two beautiful daughters to my family. I refer to my wife as the ‘woman of my dreams’.”
