Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma tours Bambori village, reviews welfare schemes
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Thursday, 7 May conducted a walking door-to-door outreach tour of Bambori village in Pratapgarh district, interacting with residents across age groups and reviewing the on-ground implementation of public welfare schemes. The visit, which included temple prayers and an informal tea session with locals, underscored the state government's push to strengthen rural outreach under its Gram Vikas Chaupal and Gram Vikas Rath campaigns.
Interactions with Villagers
During the tour, Chief Minister Sharma sought blessings from senior citizens and enquired about their health, pension disbursements, and benefits under the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme. Children enthusiastically showed him their homework, prompting an affectionate exchange; the Chief Minister distributed chocolates among them. He also met women residents and encouraged their active participation in Rajivika initiatives — the state's rural livelihood programme.
Following the village walkthrough, Sharma shared tea with residents and held informal discussions covering basic amenities and welfare scheme delivery. Officials accompanying him were directed to ensure the prompt resolution of concerns raised by villagers.
What the Chief Minister Said
Addressing a gathering of residents, Sharma stated that the vision of a developed India and a developed Rajasthan can only be realised through the comprehensive development of villages.
