Jaipur, Sep 1 (NationPress) The session of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly commences today, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government having made extensive arrangements for its seamless execution. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has urged all ministers and MLAs to engage actively in the discussions and maintain their presence throughout the session.
He highlighted the necessity of addressing public interest matters and the government’s welfare schemes, while also countering the misleading narratives from the opposition.
“Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our government is committed to the comprehensive development of Rajasthan. We are dedicated to fulfilling the expectations and confidence that the electorate has placed in us,” stated CM Sharma.
He advised ministers to be thoroughly prepared for departmental inquiries and to provide detailed explanations regarding the government’s developmental initiatives and welfare programs. The Chief Minister also emphasized that the government’s priority will be to ensure the smooth operation of the House to facilitate the passage of crucial public interest bills.
CM Sharma pointed out that in a mere 18 months, the current government has accomplished more developmental work than the preceding Congress administration did in five years. He encouraged MLAs to promote these achievements both within the Assembly and through the media, especially in light of the forthcoming Panchayat and Municipal elections.
Furthermore, CM Sharma outlined the state government's forthcoming campaigns and programs, including Seva Pakhwada, Gaon Chalo Abhiyan, Shahar Chalo Abhiyan, the Cooperative Movement, and the Khelo India University Games, and called for the proactive involvement of MLAs in these initiatives.
A strategic meeting of the BJP Legislature Party was convened on Sunday at the Chief Minister’s residence to finalize plans for the session.
This meeting included prominent figures such as BJP State President Madan Rathore, Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel, Government Chief Whip Jogeshwar Garg, along with other members of the Council of Ministers and BJP MLAs.
