Rajasthan Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham on Saturday, 11 July called for a unified effort among the government, industry, and citizens to realise the twin goals of a developed India and a developed Rajasthan. Speaking at an event in Jaipur under the 'Rising Rajasthan' initiative, he urged every individual to define their own role in the nation's progress.

India's Technology Push: AI, Automation, and Robotics

Bedham highlighted that India is no longer solely reliant on foreign technology in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, automation, and robotics. He said the country is now developing its own indigenous technology with the potential to set global benchmarks — a shift he described as a defining feature of India's development trajectory.

Viksit Bharat 2047 and Rajasthan's Role

The minister noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has committed to transforming India into a fully developed nation by 2047. He added that the Rajasthan government, under Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, has already initiated work aligned with the 'Developed Rajasthan' vision and is moving rapidly toward those targets. 'The objective of development can only be realised through the collective efforts of the government, industry, and the general public,' Bedham said.

CM Sharma Launches ₹880 Crore Projects in Kekri

Separately, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects worth approximately ₹880 crore in Kekri, Ajmer district. Addressing a public gathering, Sharma said the state's 'double-engine government' — referring to the alignment between the BJP-led state administration and the Centre — is accelerating infrastructure development and improving public services across Rajasthan.

Sharma outlined a roadmap covering key sectors including water, electricity, roads, education, healthcare, and employment, asserting that results are already visible on the ground. He said the Prime Minister's Viksit Bharat vision is centred on world-class infrastructure and improved quality of life for ordinary citizens, and that Rajasthan is pursuing that goal through sustained investments in roads, railways, airports, water projects, and social welfare.
