Jaipur, June 28 (NationPress) In a subtle jab at the Congress, Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma stated on Saturday that the accomplishments of his administration significantly surpass the previous government's record.
He highlighted that 10.5 lakh bicycles have been distributed compared to just 3.5 lakh during the preceding 18 months. Additionally, 3 lakh youth have received training in skill development, and 30,000 scooties have been provided to girl students, in contrast to 6,400 from the last administration.
During the 29th State-Level Bhamashah Samman Samaroh at the Takshila Auditorium of Maheshwari Public School, he noted that over 88,000 students have benefited from the distribution of tablets and laptops.
He assured that there have been no paper leaks under the current administration, unlike the previous government. A recruitment calendar has been issued by the RPSC and the Staff Selection Board, aiming for 1 lakh government jobs annually and 4 lakh jobs over five years.
The Chief Minister detailed several initiatives undertaken by the government to promote modern and inclusive education throughout Rajasthan:
He noted, "Smart classrooms have been launched in 13,000 government schools, ICT labs have been set up in approximately 14,000 schools, pre-primary classes have commenced in 402 PM Shri Vidyalayas, and primary education has started in Swami Vivekanand Vidyalayas, emphasizing schemes aimed at empowering girls," he asserted.
Sharma announced that over Rs 90 crore has been directly transferred to 2.27 lakh girls under the Gargi Puraskar and Balika Protsahan Yojana.
"Our objective is to foster girls’ education and assist them in realizing their aspirations," he stated.
Chief Minister Sharma remarked that the state's goal is beyond mere education; it is about shaping students into ideal citizens by instilling values, ethics, and culture.
He also emphasized the crucial role of the "Triveni" of Bhamashahs, educators, and motivators in transforming Rajasthan into a premier educational state. He referred to donations as a sacred tradition, stating that even ancient scriptures praise selfless giving as the highest virtue.
"In this spirit, Bhamashahs are financially supporting schools by constructing buildings, providing infrastructure, and enhancing educational quality," he added.
CM Sharma asserted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, various schemes are empowering women, youth, laborers, and farmers.
