Jaipur, Jan 21 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma affirmed that in accordance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision, the state government is committed to the welfare of youth, women, farmers, and labourers.
“In the past year, significant steps have been taken to improve women's education, health, security, and entrepreneurship,” he stated while speaking to women and girl students during the pre-budget dialogue at the Chief Minister's Office.
He pledged that the government would thoroughly evaluate all recommendations from women representatives and integrate them into the budget when possible.
He stressed that by empowering women, we empower families, forge resilient communities, and foster the growth of a thriving nation.
“This belief has been fundamental to the government's initiatives since day one,” he noted.
The Chief Minister also pointed out that the state government has introduced various programs aimed at the comprehensive development of women.
“The Laado Protsahan Yojana offers financial support of Rs 1 lakh in seven installments, from the birth of a girl child until she completes her higher education. The initial installment of around Rs 33 crore has been distributed, with 3 lakh girl children anticipated to benefit by March this year,” he explained.
Additionally, under the Mukhyamantri Nari Shakti Udyam Protsahan Yojana, women can secure easy loans through banks.
“Over 58,000 girls have been provided with the chance for free secondary and higher secondary education through the Kalibai Bhil Mahila Sambal Shiksha Setu Yojana,” he added.
He also mentioned that 85,000 women and girls have undergone training in employment, digital skills, and personality development through the Chief Minister Nari Shakti Training and Skill Development Scheme.
“Furthermore, more than 1.22 crore women and girls benefit from the free distribution of sanitary napkins under the Kalibai Bhil Udaan Yojana,” he concluded.
