Jaipur, Jan 13 (NationPress) In pursuit of the vision for a 'Developed Rajasthan 2047', the preparations for the 2025-26 state budget are in progress, as stated by an official on Monday. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will hold pre-Budget discussions with various stakeholders from January 16 to January 22 to gather their insights and feedback.
Among these discussions, a significant meeting with employee organizations is planned for January 16 (Thursday). Officials from the Chief Minister's Office emphasized that employees serve a crucial role as Karmayogis in ensuring transparent, efficient, and corruption-free governance for the populace.
They are responsible for implementing the state government's policies and vision at the grassroots level, and acknowledging this, the state government remains dedicated to their welfare.
To meet staffing requirements and create job opportunities for the youth, the government has set a goal to generate 4 lakh government jobs over the next five years.
To date, over 59,000 appointments have been completed, and recruitment is ongoing for around 15,000 additional positions.
Furthermore, a recruitment examination schedule for 81,000 posts has been announced. In the interim and revised budgets, the state government has introduced several initiatives aimed at benefiting employees.
These initiatives encompass a two-year relaxation for DPC (Departmental Promotion Committee) promotions, the option for male and female employees to select either their parents or in-laws for medical benefits under RGHS (Rajasthan Government Health Scheme), notional salary increments effective July 1 for employees retiring on June 30 of the same year, increasing the maximum gratuity limit from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh, raising the reimbursement limit for outdoor medical services for pensioners from Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000, and providing an enhanced family pension for 10 years in the event of an employee's passing.
