Jaipur, April 30 (NationPress) The authorities in Rajasthan have issued a crucial advisory to alert students and their families about the rising threat of cyber fraudsters who are deceitfully claiming to possess leaked question papers for the imminent NEET-UG 2025 examination.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) and the Rajasthan Cyber Crime Branch have firmly stated that the examination process is exceptionally secure, and any assertions regarding a paper leak are entirely unfounded and fraudulent.

In a statement, Director General of Police (Cyber Crime), Hemant Priyadarshi, highlighted that cybercriminals are deliberately targeting aspiring NEET candidates and their families by disseminating false information on Telegram and various social media platforms. These scammers exploit the anxiety surrounding exams to extort funds, often making bogus claims of connections to printing presses, top rankers, and esteemed coaching institutions to bolster their credibility.

With NEET-UG 2025 set for May 4, the frequency of misleading messages regarding leaked question papers has increased. Scammers are soliciting sums ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 70,000 from students in exchange for these purported leaked materials.

One notorious Telegram channel, “NEET PG Leaked Materials,” was recently discovered with over 20,600 members, falsely asserting that it could provide leaked NEET PG 2024 question papers.

Authorities have stressed that students should never share personal details such as roll numbers, passwords, or banking information with unknown individuals or platforms.

An official remarked that all such messages and websites are crafted solely to defraud and exploit victims, noting that fraudulent Telegram channels have emerged ahead of the NEET UG 2025 exam under the guise of a paper leak.

“A channel named ‘NEET PG Leaked Materials’ was operating, boasting around 20,600 members, falsely claiming to sell supposed leaked papers for the NEET PG 2024 exam. Within these channels, scammers are demanding amounts between Rs 50,000 and 70,000 from students,” he stated.

The official conveyed that both the National Board of Examinations (NTA) and the Cyber Crime Branch have made it clear that these claims are fabricated and advised students to remain vigilant against such channels, urging them not to pay any money to unknown persons or websites alleging to have leaked NEET exam question papers.

“It has been strongly advised not to disclose personal information like roll numbers, passwords, or banking details to anyone,” the official stressed.

DG Priyadarshi further indicated that the public should report any misleading Telegram channels or apps claiming paper leaks to the National Examination Board and the Cyber Crime Branch.

“Information related to suspicious screenshots, group links, bank accounts, UPI IDs, and wallet information should be reported to the Cyber Helpline number 1930, the Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at https://cybercrime.gov.in, or the nearest police station or cyber police station,” DG Priyadarshi concluded.
