Jaipur, Dec 2 (NationPress) Rajasthan has emerged as the national leader in the Special Intensive Revision of Voter Lists (SIR) – 2026, showcasing remarkable accomplishments in form digitisation, voter mapping, and booth-level completion, as highlighted by Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan.

This revision effort, taking place under the guidance of the Election Commission of India, is advancing with exceptional speed, accuracy, and clarity.

Out of a total of 5,46,56,215 counting forms, over 5.39 crore have been digitised and uploaded onto ECI-Net, achieving an impressive completion rate of 98.78 percent even ahead of the set deadline. Mahajan attributed this success to the state's improved technical capabilities, robust coordination, and ongoing district-level oversight, which ensured smooth execution across various regions.

Rajasthan now takes the lead nationally with 94 percent voter mapping. Several constituencies have exceeded national benchmarks, with Lohawat, Baytu, Nagar, Kapasan, Sikri, and Salumbar all surpassing the 99 percent voter mapping mark.

Furthermore, 16 assembly constituencies have achieved mapping for over 98 percent of voters, signifying the extensive efficacy of local electoral processes.

The state has also made significant progress in the digitisation of counting forms. With Phalodi recently joining the ranks, five districts—Barmer, Salumbar, Balotra, Jhalawar, and Phalodi—have now reached 100 percent form digitisation.

In total, 48 assembly constituencies have completed full digitisation. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have successfully completed all assigned tasks at over 40,000 polling booths, reinforcing Rajasthan’s commitment to electoral readiness.

Acknowledging the outstanding efforts of field teams, the Chief Electoral Officer announced that in addition to BLOs and exemplary Electoral Registration Officers, 188 BLO supervisors who achieved 100 percent completion have also been recognized.

Certificates were presented via video conferencing by District Election Officers in the presence of the CEO, honoring the dedication of grassroots election personnel.

With these milestones, Rajasthan has established a national standard in digital electoral management, illustrating how technology, transparency, and collaboration can enhance the democratic system ahead of the 2026 electoral cycle.
