New Delhi, Jan 24 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Saturday that the nation is progressing on a rapid ‘Reform Express’, which is delivering extensive advantages to workers, employees, entrepreneurs, and businesses, while simplifying life and commerce throughout India.
During the 18th Rozgar Mela held virtually, the Prime Minister emphasized that the key aim of the current reforms is to enhance ease of living and ease of doing business.
He highlighted that next-generation reforms, particularly those under the Goods and Services Tax (GST), have greatly benefited young entrepreneurs and bolstered micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
“Today, the nation has embarked on the Reform Express. Its goal is to facilitate both life and business within the country,” stated PM Modi.
“The next-generation reforms in GST have proven beneficial for everyone, especially our young entrepreneurs and MSMEs,” the Prime Minister remarked.
Modi noted that India has recently instituted historic labour reforms, aimed at benefiting labourers, employees, and businesses alike.
He added that the new labour codes have broadened the scope of social security, providing enhanced protection and support for workers and employees.
“The recent historic labour reforms are designed to benefit all – labourers, employees, and businesses. The new labour codes have reinforced the social security framework for labourers and employees,” PM Modi emphasized.
Pointing out the ongoing conversation about the Reform Express, the Prime Minister encouraged government officials to actively contribute towards advancing reforms at their respective levels.
PM Modi urged that such experiences should guide officials to prevent citizens from encountering similar issues during their tenure.
The Prime Minister asserted that small, practical reforms at the local level can yield significant results and ensure that the maximum number of people benefit from government initiatives.
“As a government member, you too should implement small reforms at your level. You must adopt this approach to maximize benefits for the populace,” PM Modi concluded.
