Panta, Nov 16 (NationPress) Sadhu Yadav, sibling of former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, expressed his discontent on Sunday regarding the alleged mistreatment faced by RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav's daughter, Rohini Acharya. He stated that such behavior towards a family daughter is unacceptable.
On the same day, Rohini Acharya made grave accusations of humiliation and physical intimidation, claiming she was forced to abandon her "crying parents and sisters".
These remarks have reignited speculation about increasing rifts within the Yadav family, which is already feeling the heat from the RJD's disappointing results in the Bihar Assembly Election 2025.
In a conversation with IANS, Sadhu Yadav remarked, "Rabri Devi is my sister, and I too have faced numerous hardships, yet I have never uttered a word against her. What is being circulated, what people are saying, is incorrect. She (Rohini Acharya) is my niece, a beloved daughter of our family, and a daughter of Bihar. If someone has treated her in such a way, it should never have transpired; it is wrong."

They failed to grasp what Bihar needed. Regarding Rohini, she has even donated her kidney to her father; this treatment is inexcusable," he stated.
Earlier that day, in a poignant post on her X account, Rohini shared in Hindi (loosely translated), "Yesterday, a daughter, a sister, a married woman, a mother was subjected to humiliation, vile insults were hurled at her, and a slipper was raised against her. I did not compromise my self-respect; I did not surrender the truth, and because of this, I endured this disgrace... Yesterday, a daughter, out of compulsion, left her crying parents and sisters behind; they tore me away from my maternal home... They left me feeling orphaned..."

These fresh emotional revelations come just a day after Rohini shared ambiguous and controversial messages announcing her departure from public and political life, directly accusing Tejashwi Yadav's close aides, Sanjay Yadav and Rameez Khan, of compelling her into this decision.
