Jaipur, April 2 (NationPress) The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is set to hold the Sub-Inspector (SI) and Platoon Commander Competitive Examination-2025 across 199 locations in Jaipur district on April 5 and 6.

Narendra Kumar Verma, the Examination Coordinator and Additional District Collector (East), announced that a total of 149,716 candidates are registered to take part in the exam, which will occur over two days with two shifts each day at these centers.

To facilitate a smooth examination process, a control room has been established in Room No. 116 at the Collectorate in Jaipur.

This control room will operate from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on April 3 and 4, 2026, and from 9:00 AM onwards on April 5 and 6, continuing until all tasks related to the examination are complete.

For effective oversight, 71 Sub-Coordinators and 38 Flying Squads have been appointed.

Verma emphasized that to uphold the integrity of the examination, all candidates will undergo comprehensive security checks at the centers. It is imperative that candidates adhere strictly to the outlined guidelines.

Female candidates are prohibited from wearing any form of jewelry, except for thin bangles made of lac or glass, while entering the examination centers.

Additionally, candidates will not be allowed to bring or wear items such as watches, sunglasses, belts, handbags, hairpins, amulets, caps, hats, scarves, stoles, shawls, or mufflers.

According to the prescribed dress code, male candidates should don half-sleeved shirts, T-shirts, or kurtas paired with trousers or pyjamas and slippers or flip-flops. Female candidates are required to wear salwar suits or sarees with half-sleeved kurtas or blouses, along with slippers or flip-flops, and may use only simple rubber bands for their hair.

Candidates from the Sikh community will be permitted to appear with their religious symbols, including the Kara, Kirpan, and Pagri (turban).

Officials from various departments, including Police, Municipal Corporation, Traffic Police, Education, Medical, Civil Defence, Electricity, Roadways, and JCTSL, have been designated specific responsibilities to ensure the examination proceeds smoothly.
