Bhopal, Nov 26 (NationPress) Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP representing Guna, expressed his admiration for Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Wednesday, asserting that the central Indian state is establishing new standards in effective governance.

Scindia shared his thoughts through a post on his social media account X, shortly after a meeting with Chief Minister Yadav during his visit to Bhopal.

During their cordial meeting, the two engaged in a productive discussion concerning various significant issues affecting the development of Madhya Pradesh.

“Under the guidance of CM Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh is creating a new standard in governance, public welfare, and progress,” Scindia stated on X.

Scindia arrived in Bhopal on Wednesday evening and plans to participate in several events within his prominent Lok Sabha constituency of Guna over the upcoming three days.

Notably, Chief Minister Yadav is set to distribute compensation funds to farmers who suffered losses due to flooding and heavy rainfall affecting paddy crops in the Sheopur district on Thursday.

The Sheopur district, located in the Gwalior-Chambal region and a stronghold of Scindia, is also renowned for the Kuno National Park, which is part of ‘Project Cheetah’. Many districts in the region, especially Sheopur, Guna, Shivpuri, and Ashoknagar, faced severe damage from heavy monsoon rains, with Scindia previously assuring farmers of compensation for their ruined crops.

Earlier on Wednesday, before his meeting with Chief Minister Yadav, the Union Minister held a review session with local public officials and district leaders about various ongoing development initiatives, including the upgrade of Gwalior Railway Station.

Jyotiraditya Scindia's political journey took a pivotal turn in March 2020 when he parted ways with the Congress party.

A prominent figure in Madhya Pradesh's political landscape and once closely associated with the Gandhi Family, Scindia's departure also set off a sequence of events that led to the fall of the then Kamal Nath-led Congress government, as 22 MLAs loyal to him also resigned.

Following this, Scindia joined the BJP and was subsequently included in the Union Cabinet, solidifying his role within the party's national leadership.
