Gwalior, Sep 10 (NationPress) Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia stated on Wednesday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-governed Madhya Pradesh is poised for significant growth in various sectors, particularly in health, education, and industry in the upcoming years.
Speaking at a public event in his Lok Sabha constituency of Guna, Scindia asserted that the state has experienced remarkable advancements over the past decade under the double-engine governance of both the Centre and the state.
He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the tireless efforts of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav in driving economic growth and industrial transformation in the state, claiming that Madhya Pradesh is on the path to becoming a developed region.
“Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is committed to altering the fate of Madhya Pradesh. The public has placed their trust in PM Modi, and as a result, both the Centre and the state governments are collaborating to advance Madhya Pradesh,” Scindia remarked.
The Union Minister, who is on a three-day comprehensive visit to Guna, participated in various events and inaugurated development initiatives in the districts of Shivpuri, Ashoknagar, and Guna.
While inaugurating a newly established electricity sub-station in Shivpuri, Scindia said, “Jyoti is the prefix in my name (Jyotiraditya), and I have come here today bearing light for you. The Scindia family has always regarded the people of Guna as family, and we will always stand by you.”
Scindia plans to hold numerous meetings in his family stronghold, Guna, having arrived at Gwalior airport on Tuesday night.
Significantly, Jyotiraditya Scindia has represented the Guna Lok Sabha seat since 2002 (with the exception of 2019-2024) under the Congress banner. In 2019, he lost to BJP's K.P. Yadav as a Congress candidate, but transitioned to the BJP in 2020 and reclaimed the seat in 2024.
This seat was previously held by his late father, Madhavrao Scindia, and his grandmother, Vijayaraje Scindia, from 1989 to 2002.
