Rescue teams from the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA), Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), and local police were actively searching for two men who were carried off by floodwaters in Afzal Sagar nala, situated in Habeeb Nagar at the city's core.
The missing individuals are identified as Arjun (26) and his cousin Ramu (25), both of whom were overwhelmed by the flooding.
Additionally, rescue efforts are ongoing for a 24-year-old named Dineshh, who fell into a nala in Vinobha Nagar within the Musheerabad region of Secunderabad. He was swept away after the retaining wall he was seated on collapsed.
