Jaipur, Dec 3 (NationPress) Rajasthan has once again showcased that the intersection of strategic planning, advanced technology, and effective execution leads to remarkable outcomes. The state has claimed the number one position in India during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
This accomplishment underscores the efficiency and integrity of the Election Department, setting a standard for other states to follow.
Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan reported that from a total of 5.46 crore enumeration forms, over 5.43 crore have been uploaded to ECI-Net, achieving a noteworthy 99.5 percent completion rate ahead of schedule.
This impressive progress illustrates Rajasthan’s robust digital infrastructure and effective field coordination, highlighting how technology and on-ground efforts can synergize effectively.
Additionally, Rajasthan is at the forefront of voter mapping, achieving over 95 percent mapping overall.
Notably, nine assembly constituencies—Kapasan, Baytu, Salumbar, Lohawat, Nagar, Sikri, Osian, Shahpura, and Bamanwas—have surpassed the 99 percent mapping milestone. Kapasan leads with a mapping of 99.46 percent among its 2.73 lakh voters, indicating that only about 1,500 individuals need to submit documents during the revision.
This mapping process enhances accuracy, improves voter services, and facilitates seamless voter roll verification without additional paperwork. Mahajan emphasized that this success is attributed to the efforts of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) across 46,000 polling stations.
Their diligent door-to-door verification and timely updates have guaranteed the high accuracy of voter records. Rajasthan has also excelled in digitization, with Barmer, Salumbar, Balotra, Jhalawar, Phalodi, Bharatpur, Churu, Dausa, and Baran achieving 100 percent digitization, serving as exemplary models for the nation.
He reiterated that SIR is more than just a data-centric initiative; it embodies a collective responsibility executed with integrity, transparency, and precision.
Rajasthan's achievements represent a significant step towards establishing more accurate, voter-friendly, and technologically advanced electoral rolls.
