New Delhi, Oct 13 (NationPress) - In the framework of the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025, recognized as India’s largest school innovation initiative, an engaging event took place at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 in Delhi Cantt. Here, students and educators had the opportunity to converse with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The students enthusiastically presented their innovative concepts, while the Minister commended their remarkable contributions toward realizing the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Jointly orchestrated by the Ministry of Education and the Atal Innovation Mission (NITI Aayog), students from various regions of the country demonstrated their groundbreaking projects themed around “Vocal for Local”, “Swadeshi”, and “Prosperous India”.

A multitude of students also showcased numerous technological endeavors and prototypes aimed at addressing societal challenges.

Minister Pradhan, addressing the media, remarked: “The largest Buildathon 2025 in the country has been successfully organized. To date, approximately 2.3 million students have taken part, alongside 1 million teachers serving as mentors. Our vision is to transform India into a developed nation by 2040.”

“The nation’s advancement relies heavily on the creativity of its youth. The aspiration to become job creators is swiftly gaining momentum among the younger generation, which will bolster India’s economy,” he further elaborated.

A student from the Ambu Seva team shared with IANS, “Our ‘Ambu Seva’ initiative aims at fostering a self-reliant India. Ambulances often face traffic congestion, leading to delays that can jeopardize patient lives. We’ve devised a solution that notifies individuals within a one-kilometer radius when an ambulance is approaching, enabling timely lane clearance.”

Another student, Sneha, indicated that her group has developed an eco-friendly project under the “Vocal for Local” campaign.

“We have substituted plastic pots in nurseries with biodegradable ones made from coconut shells. This initiative will minimize plastic usage and benefit the environment. Additionally, we are developing a website to spread awareness,” she mentioned.
