Guwahati/Agartala, March 19 (NationPress) The Chief Ministers of northeastern states expressed their admiration on Wednesday for the return of NASA astronaut Sunita Williams and the Crew-9 astronauts to Earth after a remarkable nine-month journey in space. They emphasized that her resilience, dedication, and pioneering spirit motivate countless individuals.

In individual posts on their 'X' accounts, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, and Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu remarked that space exploration embodies the essence of pushing human potential, dreaming boldly, and having the courage to realize those dreams.

Assam CM Sarma noted in his X post: "Take a bow -- this is indeed one of the high points of humanity, a superb convergence of endurance and scientific progress. Welcome back Sunita Williams."

Tripura CM Saha welcomed the Crew-9 back, stating, "The Earth missed you! Their journey was a testament to grit, courage, and the limitless human spirit.
